Licube Begins Early Access for Ultra-High-Purity Lithium

Licube has begun accepting pre-orders for 4N-grade (≥99.99%) lithium hydroxide, produced through its proprietary electrochemical purification process developed from fusion-grade research.

This launch marks the company’s transition from demonstration to commercial phase — offering industries access to ultra-high-purity lithium at unprecedented scale and cost efficiency.

Typical battery-grade lithium hydroxide contains about 5,000 ppm of impurities, whereas Licube’s 4N-grade product is refined to below 50 ppm in total, with each major element — Na, K, Ca, Mg, Al, Fe, Si — reduced to under 1 ppm.

This purity enables consistent performance across semiconductors, photonics, fusion materials, and aerospace applications.

Pre-orders are now open at a reference price of USD 500 per kilogram — less than half the price of comparable laboratory suppliers.

For larger volumes, Licube offers further cost reductions, supported by its plan to become the first ton-scale producer of 4N-grade lithium hydroxide.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2026, prioritized for research institutions, advanced manufacturers, and strategic industrial users.

Each batch will include a Certificate of Analysis (COA) confirming 4N purity and elemental composition.
